Excellent Auction advice

We were really pleased when Sue offered Stuart’s services when we decided to go after our first house at auction. We’d watched a couple of auctions and felt out of our depth trying to go it alone. Stuart took time to explain the process, understand what our price expectations and limits were and provided a steadying influence on us at a stressful time. The auction took place in a crowded conference room, and it was reassuring that Stuart knew most of the agents and advisors. The bidding went faster than we could follow, but stopped short of the reserve and ended in a vendor negotiation. This was something that we were totally unprepared for, and was handled very deftly by Stuart, who talked us through it calmly. We won the auction and the price was healthy, but affordable. It’s highly doubtful we’d have got this kind of result without our experienced guide!
